The Conversation Corner “Tiffany Flowers and Farai Caldwell” 7-13-19

The July 10th edition of The Conversation Corner with Author Andrew Snorton is one for the readers, especially when it comes to children’s books, festivals, and even sports!

Our first guest is Golden Butterfly Publishing; under the leadership of Tiffany Flowers, her books have a wide range of themes for children and younger readers, including her upcoming event on July 28th at Nubian Bookstore (in Morrow, GA). Our second guest is Farai Caldwell, the director of the Atlanta African American Book Festival. In its second year, the July 20th event is drawing a wide range of authors from literally all over the country, as last year’s event drew authors from the West Coast, Midwest, and others, focusing on a wide range of genres.

And then there’s the host, as his “Nothing minor” series focuses on minor league baseball, a hidden gem in sports. Having covered the teams in Gwinnett (AAA affiliate of the Atlanta Braves), Chattanooga (AA affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds), and the Greenville Drive (A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox), complete with pre-game, in-game, and post-game coverage and interviews with baseball’s brightest future stars, it’s something that is more than fan friendly.
