Since its inception in 2015, the #AlphaDerbyWeekend hosted by the Alphas of Atlanta is one of the city’s biggest events of the spring and beyond. Their Kentucky Derby themed event has received accolades from local media (i.e. CBS46, Focus Atlanta, The Atlanta-Journal Constitution, and The Atlanta Voice among other media outlets), and even national attention from Sheen Magazine.

The Kentucky Derby themed event is a true destination benefit event as 1/3 of all guests travel from outside the state of Georgia to attend (including cities such as Birmingham, Charlotte, Chicago, New York, Washington DC, Vegas, and even overseas). This year marks the 5th annual edition (May 3-5, 2019) complete with a kickoff concert, main event, and Sunday brunch. To date, more than $160K is donated to EIGHT nonprofits to support efforts ranging from mentoring and leadership development programs, college tours, scholarships, and other community programming.
