-The Conversation Corner “Health Industry Preparation and Black Ice Affair” 11-13-19

Let’s have a conversation today (November 13th) at 7pm EST on the Status Network through the LyveTV channel on The Conversation Corner with Author Andrew Snorton! Entertainment, business, community, and more is what our show is all about as we start airing for our 2nd year!

Our first guest, Chastity Oaks, is a 13-year professional in the medical field (with her CNA, PCT, an RN designations) and is the president/director of nursing at the Arise Health Institute. Combined with her experience, professionalism, and highly qualified team, their focus is on providing a wide range of health and nursing centered education and professional programs, including certificate and diploma programs. All are with one thing in mind: to prepare the next generation of professionals needed in the health industry and beyond.

Our second set of guests are members of the Loganville-Conyers (GA) of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc (Sigma Eta Lambda), as their 2019-20 programming gets a little “colder” leading into the holidays! Their Black Ice Affair on December 14th is a day party (2-6pm) complete with holiday cheer full of networking, socializing, the “ugly sweaters”, and more. However, it’s more than just a holiday day (from 2-6pm) party, as a portion of the proceeds will support their ABC2 Project – since the beginning of this decade, members collect stuffed animals and other holiday items and visit multiple children’s hospitals in their service area and beyond to visit with the kids and families who are working through health and related challenges during the holiday season, so it’s truly a party with a bigger purpose.
