Multi Platinum Songwriter Accused of Murdering Girlfriend
Multi-platinum songwriter and Atlanta native, J Wright is no stranger to the law, but he’s currently facing life in prison for allegedly murdering his 20-year-old girlfriend Wilanna Bibbs; an up-and-coming music artist. Reports are stating that on Mother’s Day police were called around 1:30pm to a home in Iowa with reports of gunshots. Bibbs was pronounced dead on the scene.
Sources are saying that Wright 31, was abusive and manipulative towards the young lady. Insiders close to the couple state that Wright’s mother purchased a ticket for Bibbs to go to Iowa to see her young child for Mother’s Day, no word on just what happened on that visit. There are speculations that Bibbs did not want to return back with Wright and and an altercation took place and became fatal, leaving Bibbs dead and Wright being held on a $500,000 bond.
J Wright and Wilanna recently sat down with Mo Clark of DaPostUp on Global Vision Tv at the Status Network studio for an interview. There were no signs of trouble. In fact, Wright introduced Bibbs as an artist that he was working with. The interview was one of Wright’s first interviews since being released from prison earlier this year. The talented song writer discussed changes that he had ahead of him as well as working on his anger issues.
