Deadly Shooting in Colorado

The past few weeks have been riddle with violence. First a deadly shooting in Atlanta and now a deadly shooting in Colorado. Are these a turn events that could’ve been avoided? Are family members missing the signs? Is covid driving everybody mad? Whatever it is it’s apparent that something triggered Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa.

Monday, Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa went in to a Colorado supermarket and sprayed down the establishment with bullets killing 10 people. The cause of just what triggered this has yet to be determined. The family has been mum about the actions of Ahmad, but there have been reports that just two days before the deadly shooting, the family walked in on him brandishing a gun. When questioned about the gun, Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa merely advised that a bullet was stuck. The family took the gun from him but later returned it.

Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa’s family may not really be speaking out, but some of his classmates and those who seemingly know him have started to talk. In 2018 Al Aliwi Alissa faced a third degree assault charge for hitting a classmate multiple times in 2017. The classmate advised that this was just a random attack and nothing transpired between them to bring on the violent assault. Ahmad Al however, told officers that the other student was making racial slurs.

Fast forward to 2021 when Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa purchased a Ruger AR-556 semi-automatic pistol just six days before the shooting. Sadly this weapon caused the death of 10 people while Ahmad suffered leg wounds during the gunfire with the police. There’s no word on whether or not Ahmad had obtained counsel as of yet. It’s looking as though if he does, the stage will be set for mental stability.
